Edgar Industries Quality Assurance department uses traditional comparators and inspection tooling along with some of the most up to date measuring systems available to verify accuracy at every step of the manufacturing process. We maintain our quality not only by strict procedures, but also through a culture of pride in workmanship and attention to detail. EDGAR INDUSTRIES is Certified ISO 9001:2015.
Edgar Industries QA technicians use the FaroArm for precise 3D measurements of both large and small parts. The FaroArm is as accurate as a large fixed-bed coordinate measuring machine (CMM), but it is portable and much easier to use. The FaroArm’s built in sensors enable extremely accurate measurements without the need for special inspection room conditions.
The FARO Laser Tracker is capable of delivering unmatched quality and accuracy. Edgar Industries uses the FARO Laser Tracker as an extremely accurate, portable coordinate measuring machine that enables us to build products, optimize processes, and deliver solutions by measuring more quickly, simply, and accurately than previously possible. The FARO Laser Tracker is the most accurate device available based on the most common types of measurement applications. It also features a longer measurement range (180 foot radius),lighter weight, and contains the fastest, most sophisticated distance measuring system: Agile Absolute Distance Meter (AADM).
We also have a wide selection of standard inspection equipment including an Optical Comparator, Thread Gages, Micrometers and Calipers. All of our calibrations are traceable to NIST standards. Edgar Industries can provide hydrostatic testing and load testing to 20,000 pounds and we have sources available for liquid penetrant and magnetic-particle inspection.
